The Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO) has signed on to support the RAJ’s International REALTORS® Conference 2019 that will take place in Montego Bay on December 5-7, 2019. The Agency aims to promote Jamaica’s real estate market for investment at the event, which targets local and international investors and stakeholders in the Real Estate industry.
President of JAMPRO, Diane Edwards, said the Agency was keen to partner with the RAJ (Realtors Association of Jamaica) as the Agency seeks to bolster its efforts to attract new investments into the country’s Real Estate sector. Ms. Edwards said JAMPRO wants to see an increase in real estate development projects that support industries, and housing solutions for low to middle income earners.
She explained, “We are looking for investors who want to develop commercial and factory space to support sectors like Outsourcing, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Tourism, and we are also interested in the development of real estate for Jamaicans who are ready to own a new home, or office space for their small business. This conference provides the opportunity to reach these key audiences while the potential of Jamaica’s real estate and construction industries grows. JAMPRO is therefore happy to support the International Realtors Conference, and we look forward to doing business at the event.”
The three-day event will cover discussions on Jamaica as an ideal investment destination, Real Estate Tourism, and addressing Western Jamaica’s housing challenge.
The Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO)’s mission is to drive economic development through growth in investment and export. JAMPRO is an Agency of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries.
