Application Form 

The Jamaica Screen Development Initiative (JSDI) is a financing initiative of the Government of Jamaica (GOJ), which aims to support and strengthen the local screen-based industries by providing a pool of funds accessible for the completion of eligible screen-based projects across various stages of development.

This application form must be completed by individuals or companies who wish to apply for funding support from the Jamaica Screen Development Initiative (JSDI). All responses provided on this form will be used solely for the evaluation of applications for funding and to assist develop a database of Jamaican creatives operating in the Film and Animation Industries.

Instructions to Applicants

I. Please note that a complete application to the JSDI consists of the completion of this application form and the submission of all mandatory supporting documentation required per funding category. 

II. You will not be able to save your application, so kindly ensure that all documentation needed is available for upload.  The list of required documents is available in the Operational Guidelines.

III. Please follow the sample format shown in each textbox of the application form.  This includes ensuring hyphens (‘-‘) are included for the TRN and telephone numbers. 

IV. You may use the small arrows to the left of each section header to expand or collapse access to the information that is to be, or has been inputted for each section. 

V. After clicking on the type of support needed, if you do not see the request for attachments, you may need to refresh the page.  This will not affect information that has already been inputted. 

VI. Please ensure that each mandatory file that is uploaded comprises all the relevant information required to complete a full evaluation of your application.  However, you may also upload a link to a shared drive for additional information that you think may add value to your application.   

VII. You may resubmit an application before the deadline, if you believe that you have additional information to submit that can add value to your application.  However, to disqualify the initial application, the primary applicant will need to submit an email request to jsdi@dobusinessjamaica.com with a copy of their ID attached.
