Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller (second right) share a moment with (from left) JAMPRO president Diane Edwards, Sutherland Global Services Jamaica head Odetta Rockhead, Industry Minister Anthony Hylton, University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, Deputy Drincipal Professor Ishenkumba Kahwa, Sutherland Global Services senior vice-president Jim Myers, and Sutherland Global Services CEO Dilip Vellodi at the official opening of the business process outsourcing (BPO) company, Sutherland Global Services Jamaica, at UWI on Wednesday.
Sutherland plans to add 300 jobs at its Global Delivery Centre at UWI. Established in 1986, Sutherland is a global provider of business process and technology management services offering an integrated portfolio of analytics-driven back-office and customer-facing solutions that support the entire customer life cycle.
